Fan Mail
Due to the number of requests received by the club, we are unable to provide autographs for all fans. Nevertheless we would like to suggest the following procedures to help you in your autograph search. Please direct any correspondence or requests to the specific player at:
Player Name
Texas Rangers Baseball Club
1000 Ballpark Way, Ste. 400
Arlington, TX 76011
  • If you are sending an item to be autographed, it is best to send it with self-addressed, postage-paid packaging to aid in the item's return to you
  • Because of the volume of mail we receive, it is impossible to trace correspondence sent to players. We therefore discourage sending items of personal value because we cannot guarantee a safe return.
  • Each player is responsible for his own fan mail
  • It is best not to direct a specific item to more than one player
  • Only send correspondence during the regular season, between the months of April and September

With high mail volume and busy player schedules, it may take some time to receive a response. By following the procedures above, you increase your chances of receiving a response. The few extra minutes you may take in sending your request will help make it easier for the player to answer his mail during a busy season.

We hope that you find this information helpful and we thank you for your interest in the Texas Rangers.

If you are interested in receiving pocket schedules, Rangers decals, souvenir lists, or fan packs, please direct requests to the Community Relations Department at:

Firefighter/Police Officer Appreciation
For the 12th year in a row, the Rangers once again will honor area firefighters, police officers, and deputy sheriffs for their ongoing contributions to the community in a pre-game ceremony on August 22. A local firefighter, police officer, and deputy sheriff who has been nominated by their station will throw three first pitches, simultaneously, to start the game.
Foundation Auctions
For the eighth consecutive season, the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation is providing guests with the opportunity to bid on collectable items during every home game. Items being auctions include Nolan Ryan and Josh Hamilton memorabilia and mystery baseballs, where fans can purchase a wrapped baseball for the chance to own one of many possible Rangers alumni or current players. During the 2007 season, the game auctions raised $140,000 for the foundation. Proceeds from the auction helped fund the construction for Habitat for Humanity houses and Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation scholarships.
Habitat for Humanity
In August 2008, the Texas Rangers, along with several corporate sponsors such as Fox Sports Network, will complete their 22 Habitat for Humanity house, which will be provided for the Delgado family in Dallas. Toys for Tots
For the Holiday season the Texas Rangers team up with the United States Marines Corps in a Toys for Tots toy drive. Toys for Tots is a program designed to unite community members to collect and deliver new toys to needy children at Christmas and encourage a message of hope that will promote children to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.

The toy drive ends at the Ballpark in Arlington, where the Rangers provide food, beverages and entertainment, such as pictures with Santa, face painting, and a player autograph session. Attendees are encouraged to donate a new and unwrapped toy for the event.

Vascular Birthmark Foundation & Frank Catalanotto
During his last stint as a Texas Rangers, Frank Catalanotto and his wife, Barbara formed a partnership with the Vascular Birthmark Foundation. The Catalanotto's daughter, Morgan was born with a hemangioma and the VBF provided the information and support they needed to make the best decision about their daughter's hemangioma.

Barbara and Frank have served as the honorary chairs of the VBF providing financial assistance and helping increase the awareness and have helped them double in size, with chapters all over the world helping over 25,000 children into treatment.

Frank, Barbara, and Morgan Catalanotto presented a check on August 2, 2008 in the amount of $25,000 to the Vascular Birthmark Foundation to help them continue their good works.

VBF is making a difference in the lives of families all over the world. Today, there are over 40,000 children born with a vascular birthmark, like Morgan and thanks to VBF, families can get information and the help they need by visiting the VBF website at birthmark.org.
